Meet Moneek Pines

Founder of ARTrageous Brush & Flow

Moneek Pines is a multimedia artist, wearable art designer, and Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach. She founded ARTrageous Brush & Flow so people of every age would have a place to paint, connect, and build confidence through art.

Community Work

For more than 20 years, Moneek has run art programs in neighborhoods where people have few chances to make art. She has painted with hundreds of people, from young children using color for the first time to elders coming back to art later in life. She also founded an art-based childcare program built on imagination, culture, and confidence. She has presented at schools, nonprofits, and cultural organizations across Philadelphia, and she designed the street banners for the 6300 block of Germantown Avenue.

“Art isn’t just something you create, it’s something you live.”
